As my first post,I wanna ask do you remember the first comic you ever read? I do it was 7th Grade and the comic was Alan Davis,and Clairmont's Excalibur special.My friend Derek brought it to school to read during detention. I saw it in his locker and asked if i could read it. It had this amazingly huge effect on me i was hooked on comics from then on. I even remember the comic that made me want to become a comic book artist,much to my mothers disappointment,as she had these grand plans to make me into a classical artist . It was Marc Silvestri's artwork on X-Men 243.
I'm interested in hearing from you,what was your favorite comic..and if your comic book artist or a artist what comic or piece of artwork gave you the bug to start drawing comics?
